Location - Lat. N. 39° 46' 6.6", Long. W. 105° 11' 37.2" (NAD83). Gage is located on the Croke Canal diversion structure on the left bank of Clear Creek, 1.75 miles northwest of Golden, CO.

Drainage Area and Period of Record - 416 mi² (USGS Colorado StreamStats Utility) of drainage area of varying topography including undeveloped and developed areas. Stream is heavily regulated by numerous reservoirs, diversions from and deliveries to the stream. Period of Record: N/A

Gage - Campbell Scientific CS-476 radar sensor connected to a Sutron SatLink2 v2 Data Collection Platform (DCP) on the Croke Canal diversion structure. The primary reference is a wire weight gage immediately adjacent to the instrumentation installation.
