Location - N 38d15m21s, W 104d35m26s. Located on Fountain Creek approx 1000-ft upstream of the confluence with the Arkansas River on the East side of Pueblo, CO. Access off of CO 227.

Drainage Area and Period of Record - Area not determined. Drainage area includes urban areas of Colorado Springs and Pueblo and is subject to urban stormwater runoff. Period of Record: N/A

Gage - Gage is operated and maintained cooperatively with the City of Colorado Springs. Gage consists of Sutron Accubar pressure sensor with Nitrogen site feed and Sutron 9210 logger/transmitter. Primary reference gage is a staff gage located on the east side of the creek near the gage shelter. Control varies between a steel weir and sand channel, when the weir becomes submerged and/or burried. The sand channel is moveable and results in frequent changes to the stage-discharge relationship, especially after large runoff events.
