Location - Lat. 37°02'45.07",Long. 108°10'58.80" NAD83, in NE¼ NE¼ sec. 3, T.35 N., R.12 W., NMPM La Plata County, Hydrologic Unit 14080105, on left bank near Redmesa 3,100 ft downstream from confluence of Long Hollow.

Drainage Area and Period of Record - 268 mi². Period of Record: Gage installed on February 5, 2015. Provisional electronic data (LAPLONCO) February 5, 2015 to present.

Gage - A Sutron Satlink 2-V2 HDR DCP with a Campbell Scientific CS476 Radar Water Level Sensor mounted on the upstream side of a bridge over the La Plata River. The telemetry equipment is mounted in a 20” X 24” NEMA enclosure mounted to steel angle iron on the left bank of the river. The primary reference is a wire weight gage located next to the radar. A secondary reference is an outside staff gage mounted to a 12-inch PVC pipe located on the left bank of the river approximately 30-ft. below the gage. Datum of gage is 6,154 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 from topo map.
