Gage - Sutron SDR-0001-1, an air temperature sensor and a tipping bucket rain gage connected to a Sutron SatLink 2v2 data collection platform in a Civilian Conservation Corps style 4 ½ x 4 ½ ft timber shelter (7 ft high) on the left bank. There is a round, 3.5 ft. diameter, solid iron well that is about 6.5 ft deep. Altitude of gage is 8,230 ft (from topographic map, Home Quad). The stage sensor is set by tape and weight from an adjustable reference point on shelter shelf. The old cantilever chain gage has been removed, but the support pipes still exist just upstream from the gage. The well is connected to stream by two 2 in pipes with valves and flush risers. The well and flush risers are encased in a concrete pad, and the building sits on top of the pad. The flush risers are accessed by a cleanout door. The shelf has a hinged door for an inside flush basin that was removed when the present well and intakes were installed.
