Location - Lat. 37°03'02",Long. 108°10'23", in SE¼SW¼ sec. 32, T.33 N., R.12 W., NMPM, La Plata County, Hydrologic Unit 14080105, on the right bank 600 feet downstream of Government Draw and 2.6 miles south of the town of Redmesa.

Drainage Area and Period of Record - 46.5 mi². Period of Record: October 1, 1988 to present.

Gage - Sutron Satlink 2 DCP connected to a Stage-Discharge-Recorder (SDR) with a backup Stevens A-35 graphic water-stage recorder inside a 3' by 3' wooden shelter and well. The SDR and graphic recorder have separate floats. The control is a 4-foot steel Parshall flume equipped with a staff gage located at the Ha position on the left side of the flume. The outside staff gage is the primary reference. One intake connects the flume to the well. The intake is a 2-inch galvanized pipe inside the well reduces to 1-inch pipe at the flume. A 2-inch flush riser with valve is located inside the well. A well access hatch (3' by 3') on the stream side of the shelter is used to access the flush valve and riser. The valve key is stored inside the shelter. Datum of gauge is 6,190 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
