Gage - Primary reference gage is a staff gage located on the left bank. A Sutron Constant Flow Bubbler (CFB) is connected to the data collection platform (DCP) with a SatLink2 V2 high data rate (HDR) transmitter for satellite telemetry, which is solar powered. The DCP is housed in a 24-inch by 26-inch steel half shelter mounted over a 16-inch diameter corrugated metal pipe. The orifice is located 50 feet streamward of the gage house. A reference point at 5.27 ft gage datum is located to the right of the orifice (independent of the orifice). The reference gage is an outside staff. A crest-stage gage is located on the left bank directly in line with the orifice. On January 8, 2015 Division of Water Resources took over operation of this gage from U.S. Geological Survey for the Town of Monument, Colorado. Datum of gage is 6,880 ft above mean sea level (NGV datum of 1929) from topographic map.
