Location - Lat. 37°10' 41.89",Long. 107°34' 22.64", in SW¼, NE¼ sec. 23, T.34 N., R.7 W., NMPM La Plata County, Hydrologic Unit 14080101, on left bank 1.3 mi downstream from the headgate, at the siphon under Beaver Creek and 3.6 mi south of Bayfield, CO.

Gage - Stevens F graphic water stage-recorder and a Sutron Satlink 2 HDR DCP with a Sutron stage-discharge recorder on a separate float, in a 24” x 24” steel shelter and well at a 12-ft steel Parshall flume. Primary reference is a line on an adjustable brass nut attached to the front of the instrument shelf. Secondary reference is the outside staff gage. Datum of gage is 6,719 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 estimated from USGS topographic map.
