Location - UTM X: 513021.0 m, UTM Y: 4160891.3 m. Gage is located approximately 4 miles west of Walsenburg, CO, off Spanish Peaks Drive, below Walsenburg Reservoir (a.k.a. City Lake). Traveling west on Hwy 160, turn left on Spanish Peaks Dr., gage is located approximately 1000-ft ahead and to the right of road. Gated access ~100-ft before gage.

Drainage Area and Period of Record - N/A -- Conveyance ditch. Gage installed in May 2009. Period of Record: N/A

Gage - Measuring Device: 3-ft fiberglass Parshall Flume. Gage consists of fiberglass well attached to flume and Sutron shaft encoder (electronic stage-sensor). NOTE: well is shallow and needs to be cleaned out periodically. Shaft encoder is logged and Tx'ed to satellite by Sutron Satlink 2 in NEMA enclosure adjacent to flume. Cooperator is City of Walensburg Water Dept.
