Dataset Description
Instream Flow (ISF) and Natural Lake Levels (NLLs) are water rights held by the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) to preserve the natural environment for streams and lakes. The CWCB can appropriate these water rights by filing new water court applications (New Appropriations) or can acquire existing water rights from willing water right owners (Acquisitions). This website provides search tools for specific ISF reaches and NLL water rights. See the data dictionary for more information about the available fields.
